I. About WZPT

Wenzhou Polytechnic (WZPT) is situated in Wenzhou, a city renowned for its historical and cultural heritage in Zhejiang Province—a key hub of China’s pioneering reform and opening-up policies. Recognized as a National Model of Vocational Education and a leading higher vocational institution with Chinese characteristics, WZPT boasts a faculty of nearly 900 members and serves over 12,000 full-time students across five campuses spanning approximately 87 hectares.WZPT offers 40 programs through its 10 schools and colleges, including School of Intelligent Manufacturing, School of Design, School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Architectural Engineering, and School of Digital Economics and Trade. WZPT has developed a TVET framework centered on intelligent manufacturing as its flagship specialty, complemented by creative design as its signature strength, while fostering coordinated growth in specialties of modern service industries.

Embracing the vision of "Vocational Education Going Global", WZPT actively leverages the Belt and Road Initiative to expand international partnerships, collaborating with institutions in 20+ countries such as Italy, Austria, Germany, and South Africa. The notable achievements include spearheading the China-Cambodia Vocational Education Alliance, establishing overseas campuses such as the Cambodia Silk Road College and China-Angola Engineering and Technology College, operating a twice-recognized provincial model program for Sino-Canadian collaborative education, and being selected among China’s first Sino-German SGAVE pilot institutions by the Ministry of Education. WZPT’s global distinction is further evidenced by its World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) Awards of Excellence (Gold and Silver) and recognition under the China-U.S. "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Initiative". Since initiating international student enrollment in 2018, WZPTcurrently hosts 110+ students from nearly 20 countries, solidifying its role as a rising force in transnational education.

Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship	About 6,000 RMB	Applyafter enrollment. Applicants must study in WZPT for at least one year.
Scholarship for Academic Achievement (Offered by WZPT )	For diploma program students:Full Scholarship (Full waiver of tuition and accommodation fees for the first academic year; Those who have passed the first and second academic years and have not been disciplined will get tuition and accommodation fees fully waived for the second and third academic years) For Chinese Language learners: Partial scholarship (Half waiver of tuition and accommodation fees as required)	For the first academic year, apply at the time of registration.

Note: Textbook fee, physical examination fee, insurance fee, and residence permit fee will be charged based on actual costs, withadjustments for overpayment or underpayment.

V. Eligibility

1. Equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma; aged 18-25.

2. Non-Chinese citizens holding valid passports.

3. Physically and mentally healthy, meeting visa/residence permit requirements, with financial capability to support study and living expenses in China.

4. No criminal record; compliance with Chinese laws, university regulations, and respect for Chinese customs.

VI. Application Deadline

From now till July 31st, 2025

VII. Application Procedure & Required Documents

Apply online via the WZPT International Student Admission System (https://wzpt.at0086.cn/student)and then submit:

1. Information Page of Valid Passport;

2. Color ID photo;

3. Scanned copies of the notarized highest education certificate and complete academictranscript (pre-graduation certificate could be presented by graduates of 2025). Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached withChinese or English translation; the original academic certificate must be presented when registration for enrollment.

4.ForeignerPhysical Examination Form (template provided by WZPT; valid for six months; in Chinese/English). The applicant shall carry out the examination in strict accordance with the items as required. The Form will be invalid if there is any unfilled records, no photo of the applicant, no seal on the photo, no signature of the doctor or no official stamp of the hospital.

5. An official certificate of no criminal record (issued within six months).

6. Proof of financial guarantee.

7.Personal statement (1-3 minutes in Chinese/English, including study plan).

VIII. Admission Process

1.Document review and possible online interviewif necessary.

2.Issuance of admission letter and JW202 form (Visa Application for International Students for Study in China ) to qualified applicants.

3. Apply for X visa at the Chinese embassy/consulate. After obtaining the visa, students must register by the specified date; failure to do so without prior notice will result in forfeiture of admission.

4.Partner programs following specific agreements with foreign institutions are not bound by this guide.
